Penn State Alumni Chapter – Puget Sound, also known as “Penn State Seattle,” is a chapter within the Penn State Alumni Association. We are a non-profit corporation registered in Washington State that fosters fraternal and social interests of alumni of Penn State University and Pennsylvanians living in the Pacific Northwest.
Our chapter supports a large community of Penn Staters in the Puget Sound metropolitan area from King, Pierce, Thurston, Lewis, Mason, Kitsap, Snohomish, Skagit, Whatcom, San Juan, and Chelan counties, keeping us connected to one another and back to the university. Our membership contingent is made up of teachers, engineers, doctors, lawyers, artists, technologists, businesspeople, and families. Members of all ages participate, from recent grads to those who graduated decades ago.
You may also hear our group referred to as “Happy Valley West” due to our large presence, fun members, and welcoming atmosphere that reminds you that you are with Penn State family!
